Over the past several months I’ve had the pleasure to observe the clinical leadership and care team at the Barton house, and their consistency speaks for itself. The team operates with a steady, hands on approach, stepping in whenever needed to support the residents and one another. Learning that staff members have been with the community for more than a decade, surely reflects a strong culture of commitment and compassion. Combined with its central Scottsdale location, Barton house continues to stand out as a reliable and well run property. Truly a joy to visit!
The staff at Barton House treat and care for my mother like family. Each time I visit they are very welcoming. I witness them engaging with each resident with kindness while meeting each one where they are at cognitively. They encourage family involvement in all of their activities and do everything they can to accommodate my mom’s preferences and needs. She has lived in three different memory care facilities and Barton House finally feels like home. There is so much anxiety, and worry when turning over care of a loved one to others. I know my mom is receiving the best care possibly.
My Dad just turned 102. Betsy, the activities director and David the manager at Barton House threw a wonderful party. There were many balloons, decorations, pizza and even a crown. My Dad loved it. He has lived 5 years at Barton House. There is also one very special caregiver, Debbie that has been there for 23 years. She is amazing and so caring. Many others are also wonderful. I am so thankful for their love and care for my Dad.
My mom is a resident here. She’s been there for a year. The entire staff is amazing including a fantastic activities director, and a wonderful chef that makes sure my mom has a healthy meal to eat. The nursing staff and care givers are fabulous, including one who has been there for over 20 years. I highly recommend this place!
Wonderful and caring staff of talented attendants. Facility director is not afraid to jump in and help the staff whenever needed...always smiling and upbeat. Activity director is always excited to present many ways of entertaining the residents. This is a top-notch senior community for any person needed memory care attention.
