Helping our elderly parents make the transition to independent living was not something our family approached lightly. From the moment we stepped onto The Palms property, however, we felt an immediate sense of peace.
Melissa and her team were exceptional—welcoming, compassionate, professional, and incredibly calming during an emotional transition. Their genuine care made all the difference.
The Palms is the perfect place for our 90- and 87-year-old parents, with wonderful dining, activities, and a vibrant community. Most importantly, our entire family now has peace of mind knowing Mom and Dad are in such a caring environment.
We offer our highest recommendation and heartfelt gratitude to Melissa and the entire team. What could have been a difficult process truly felt like a blessing.

We moved into the Palms a year ago. I can honestly say ‘The Palm’s’ has surpassed our expectations. Every day is an opportunity to experience something new. There are so many activities and classes, not to mention the fabulous festivities and celebrations that are provided. We feel so blessed to be in such a supportive and helpful community. From the spacious apartments to the friendly and caring staff and above all our wonderful neighbors, we have found our home!
I am on my fourth week living at The Palms. Everyone that includes the staff and other residents are all friendly and very helpful. My apartment which a one bedroom & den is larger than my three bedroom home I lived in for 22 years. The grounds all around are beautiful, I set on my balcony every morning and lessen to the birds! Such a great way to start each day. There’s a great swimming pool and lounging area and places to set and enjoy the outdoors. They have great meals and ways to select what you want to have for all your meals. I feel that I have found my final home!
I’ve lived here for five months and truly enjoy it. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. The residents create a warm, positive, and happy community that’s easy to feel part of. There’s always something to do, with a wide variety of activities that keep life engaging and enjoyable. It’s a place that feels welcoming, active, and supportive every day.
I am a resident at The Palms at Sun City. I have lived here for 15 months. I have recent required extra assistance here in my Independent Living apartment. I decided to use the Independent Plus Program offered here by The Palms. The program is managed by Gena Yates, who has gone above and beyond to assist me. I value her help and assistance, she has been beyond kind to me. The Independent Plus Program is one of The Palms greatest assets.
