Vista Winds Retirement Community is absolutely stunning! I am looking forward to bringing my client into this community. I don’t think there was a window without an exceptional mountain and/or desert view and the actual interiors of these residences are very spacious and upgraded! More importantly, the residents I spoke loved calling this community home! The team is extremely accommodating and responsive to resident needs.

I’ve lived here for almost 4 years. We enjoyed the most amazing Mother’s Day Celebration this year. 5 Stars! Our chef’s out did themselves. Entertainment was absolutely fantastic. They put together a terrific treat for all of us here at Desert Winds Assisted Living. *****

I have been very happy with Desert Winds since moving my Mom in October 2024. More importantly, my mother is happy! She is more active and social than she has been in years. The staff are all amazing and they love their patients. The recent remodel is beautiful! I am hoping the exterior entrance and parking lot will improve over time. That is the only thing I can think of to add for improvement suggestions. Keep up the great work Desert Winds!

My Aunt has been at Desert Winds Assisted Living about a year now and the family could not be more pleased. The initial introduction was warm and friendly. The admissions director, Courtney, was Very helpful and flexible in accommodating our schedule and needs. The medical director listened to our needs and formulated a plan to help my Aunt receive the care needed, and as we saw improvements tweaked care to continue dignity and a sense of independence. Care: with persistence one team member, Mary, stands out as caring, kind, intuitive and tenacious! Her actions helped my Aunt improve in so many ways. I feel the decision to trust the care of our loved one was well made. Many thanks to Nora, Courtney, Mary and the Aid and dining staff.

I chose Desert Winds because of the atmosphere and amazing staff. I toured 5 different facilities, and NOTHING came close to Desert Winds. I can not say enough wonderful things about Desert Winds and their entire staff. They go above and beyond to make you and your family member feel like family. They truly care and do all they can to make sure you and your family member feel comfortable and loved. Jim and Nora (just to name a few) have gone above and beyond to make this transition for my mom as smooth as possible. As this was a dire placement, Jim worked tirelessly to get a room for my mom in such a short amount of time. Jim did this all while he was at his companies Christmas party. I can't thank him enough. Desert Winds is like having a second family. My mom has been there for 3 months. She is happy, well cared for, and loved by the staff.
