The many amenities available provide a variety of things to do everyday. When we first moved here The happy hours on Monday through Friday were an immediate social gathering point. Several days a week very talented live entertainment is being presented in the main activity area.
In a very short time we had several new friends that we enjoyed spending time at together with.
Daily exercise classes and water aerobics help with maintaining an active lifestyle.
The lower level bowling alley is a fun place for family gatherings on special occasions.
We have been happy here from the day we moved in over 1 1/2 years ago.
The Garden Villas of O'fallon is a top-notch Independent and Assisted Living facility.
It offers us excellent living quarters with adequate space in the apartments. We have the availability of a chef prepared three meals daily served in the dining rooms.
We have wonderful activities planned each week that give us the opportunity to participate with other residents. We have a very knowledgeable maintenance staff that is available when needed. The housekeeping staff keeps our apartments clean, neat and tidy. We have transportation available for doctors appointments. Scheduled transportation to various stores, restaurants, and banks in the area. In my opinion, the daily needs are well covered.
Garden Villas of O’Fallon is full of wonderful, kind, thoughtful people. The longer I live here, the more it feels like home. It’s such a friendly and giving environment. My favorite activities are the wonderful music and I enjoy attending our Golden Girls club. Whenever I need help, there is always someone available to assist. The meals are healthy and delicious. In my opinion this facility is outstanding!
We chose to move to Garden Villas of O'Fallon after spending several months checking comparable facilities in our area. We visited with staff, took their tour, and then spent time with friends who were current residents in what we considered as the three best choices. Things on our list for discussion included: floor plan, sizes available, monthly cost, extra cost for second person, cleaning frequency included, internet/cable included, beauty/barbershop on site, pool (inside/outside), activities/amenities available, and transportation to area doctors/shopping, etc.
In every catagory, GVOF was our choice! We picked the style of apartment that provided what we wanted and moved in nearly two years ago.
I have been asked many times about our choice. I have always responded by saying that "it has exceeded our expectations". The staff, the facility, the food, and maintenance have been terrific.
Garden Villas of O'Fallon has been an answer to my family's prayers! My mother could not be happier. It was a difficult decision to move her from her home of 60 years, but since we have, she has thrived, met new friends, and is more active than she has been for years. Surprisingly, she is most excited about the weekly happy hour, and live entertainment a few times a week. The staff is dedicated to each of the residents, and it's clear they have true compassion. There is a lot of laughter here! Great environment. Perfect choice for our needs.
