I can't express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my loved one receives at Litchfield Joy Assisted Living. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt like family. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort, safety, and happiness of all residents.
The facilities are always immaculate, and the rooms are cozy and personalized. What truly sets Litchfield Joy apart is the genuine compassion and dedication of the staff. They take the time to engage with residents, offering companionship, support, and enriching activities.
The dining experience is superb, with nutritious and delicious meals prepared with care. I appreciate how the staff accommodates dietary restrictions and preferences without hesitation.
The sense of community at Litchfield Joy is palpable. Residents form meaningful connections through various social events, outings, and recreational activities. It warms my heart to see my loved one thriving in such a nurturing environment.

Mom has been in some type of assisted living care since 2019.She was in independent living and then she went to assisted living. Her move to Litchfield Joy was so easy, they worked with me through every step of the way. Loretta and Donna are easy to talk to with open communication. They always have the best interest of the resident at heart. They work wonderfully with hospice care, allow mom to be inside or fresh air on the back patio. In all the years this is the most caring residence mom has lived in.

My Brother was brought to Litchfield Joy Senior Living in October, 2024 and I'm happy to report that after having several strokes and other health issues he is at his home now, just 5 months later! He had been in the hospital where he was cared for, but the rehabilitation center did nothing to help him. With the care of Donna, Lorette, Shea and Loretta, and others that helped that I did not meet, he is walking and moving well. He honestly looked like a unhoused man when he was brought there, but he was cleaned up and taken care of. They made sure he had the care he needed to be back to his old self. He had Physical Therapy, wound care from his large bed sores (from the rehab facility) and all the help he needed to get to go home. The compassion and comfort he felt while recovering at the Litchfield Joy Senior Home helped him immensely and without their care, he may never have been able come home.
Litchfield Joy is an amazing assisted living home! It is such a loving and comforting home. Watching the caring staff with their residents with such warmth and compassion was amazing! I highly recommend them! 5 stars for sure!
I had a loved one staying in this home. Based off their website they promised that they would do all these activities cook healthy food barbecues take care of them they fail to do all of the above. The owner Loretta is horrible she Asked my elderly grandmother to break her bed down before she left or she would charge her $200 to do so. My grandmother was always in the hospital when she stayed there more than when she was under arm care the workers are amazing and they did all they could do with being overworked and not enough staff to help or accommodate all the people living in that home. I would never recommend this place to anyone if you care for your loved one They charge a horrific amount of money for very little to nothing that they do the staff were truly amazing it's unfortunate that they are so overworked but this is how Loretta runs her business do not believe what she says because it is all false. This place needs a new owner
