Our family will always be grateful to Bloomfield House and the wonderful care my mom received during the 2.5 years she lived there. Helen Tea has created a truly caring, loving home environment, and David Ung, who manages the day-to-day operations, along with caregivers David, Dominic, and the rest of the staff, treated my mom like family.
What makes Bloomfield House so special is that it feels like a home, not a facility. With only a small number of residents (I believe there were just 8-10 while my mom was there), each person receives individualized attention and care. The caregiver-to-resident ratio is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm, intimate, and personal.
My mom had dementia, and the staff showed endless patience, kindness, and compassion with her every single day. They truly loved her and took exceptional care of her. The residents enjoyed activities, home-cooked nutritious meals, snacks, and families were always welcomed to visit.
The private rooms and family atmosphere gave us peace of mind knowing Mom was safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. I cannot recommend Bloomfield House highly enough for anyone looking for loving assisted living care for a family member.
My mother was at Bloomfield House for about 14 months and during that time the owners, Helen and David, did a fantastic job of making her feel welcome. The other employees, David and Dominic, are incredible too. I give this facility the highest ranking possible because overall it’s great care, excellent pricing and a very comfortable place to be for my mom.
I am so grateful to know my Mom is currently at Bloomfield House . All the caregivers are so wonderful and give excellent care to my mom and all the other residents.
My mom lived here shortly at the end stages of life. She had complex medical needs and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. She felt safe and respected here. My only wish is that we would of found this place sooner. I am thankful for her high-level of care she received here, home cooked meals, and that she was seen and given dignity as a human being. The rate was good for her level of needs. I am greatful for David and the staff who cared for her.
