I’m writing this review on behalf of both myself and my uncle, for whom I serve as Power of Attorney.
From start to finish, our experience with Mona Assisted Living Home has been exceptional. Novelette and Walton are truly remarkable individuals ... kind, attentive, and deeply committed to the residents in their care. They went above and beyond to accommodate my uncle and made what could have been a difficult transition feel smooth, supportive, and personal.
The home itself is always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The food is good, and it’s clear that a lot of thought and care goes into both the environment and the daily routines. What really stands out, though, is the attention to detail and the genuine compassion shown to each resident. My uncle was treated with dignity, respect, and kindness throughout his time there.
We are incredibly grateful for the care and support provided by Novelette, Walton, and their family. It gave me real peace of mind knowing my uncle was in such capable and caring hands.
I would highly recommend Mona Assisted Living Home to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be truly cared for.
I have had the privilege of knowing Novelette and her husband Walton for over a year as their real estate agent. We spent many, many hours together searching for their assisted living facility. Both are proud veterans and Novelette brings over 20 years of nursing experience. While I have not witnessed her in her nursing environment, I am certain that her kind and caring nature provides a bedside manner that is exceptional. Additionally, her 4 years of management experience brings another level of excellence with regard to efficiency in operations, communication and staff development and training.
Novelette and Walton understand the importance of a professional but warm environment to ensure personalized attention to each resident. Safety and security measures are top-notch and they maintain a clean and well-maintained environment reflecting their commitment to the residents' health and comfort.
Walton's great sense of humor adds a joyful atmosphere, making every day a bit brighter for everyone around. I have been here for almost 2 months. Am very well taken care of, with professionalism and good humor. The facility is perfect and the food is exceptional. I have the highest regards for the Mona Assisted Living facility. Am comfortable and content.
