With 20 years of experience in healthcare, I've had the opportunity to see many long term care, assisted, and residential care facilities. I've seen firsthand what makes a difference in these environments, but it was my own experience placing my mother in memory care that gave me an entirely different perspective.
Making the decision to place a loved one in the hands of others can be incredibly difficult. There may be guilt, anxiety, uncertainty, or the constant question of whether you're making the right decision. You want so much more than a facility that simply meets their needs. You want a place where they will be known, valued, loved, and treated with the dignity they deserve. A place where you can have peace knowing that your loved one is truly in good hands.
This is what I find so special about Divine Doors. Its approach is centered on each resident as an individual, rather than simply another person needing assistance. And what stands out to me most is that God is at the center of it all! His love is the foundation upon which this home waa built, and that is something you cannot measure by amenities, services, or appearances.
It's not just about finding a place for your loved one to live. It's about finding a place where you can have peace about placing them. And when God's presence fills a home, that makes all the difference.
