My mother was a resident at AZ Best Care for Seniors for two years. In my opinion, this home was top notch. I could always trust that mother would be watched after and given the care that she needed. She really enjoyed the activities that were available. She participated in music day, crafts, bingo and birthday parties to name a few. Holidays were also celebrated. Mother made some very special friendships while she was there. During mother’s time there she went thru cancer treatment. She has extreme heart disease which made the cancer treatment and care much more complicated. The care team at AZ Best really stepped up to the rare challenges this brought about. This home also has a few primary and specialty care clinics that they work closely with. These doctors come to the home. This made medical challenges go very smoothly. Catalina the Owner/Administrator was always easy to get a hold of and communicate with. You could reach her by text, email or phone.
We would love to thank Catalina and staff for all they did helping mom. Mom can be difficult at times, but the staff was always sweet and patient with her. They were encouraging in trying to get mom up and moving, despite her grumblings, they worked at her pace.
The home was always clean and welcoming. I loved Catalina's approach ... all who live here are family... and she treated them as such. I enjoyed that they all ate together when able, played games ( she even let dad join in the fun), enjoyed live music and could socialize with each other.
Knowing that Catalina was a nurse gave me great comfort .We looked at many homes before leaving mom in Catalina's care. I would definitely recommend her home!
Wonderful facility in Glendale, they cared for my mother in the most loving manner. Smaller number of residents helps ensure that each house member gets the best care possible, and Cati is not only a caring nurse, but a very highly competent director, who tries to make sure that every aspect of the facility is up to code (no deficiencies as reported by the Arizona Department of Health Services). They cared for her as if she was their own mother, and upon her passing, took the news as hard as we did. So glad that we got a chance to meet her and her wonderful staff!
One of a kind assisted living home in the heart of Glendale. Kathi, the owner, is an amazing RN, the home is spotless, the food is amazing. They offer live music/ entertainment on a weekly basis. The caretakers are very caring and it is always a pleasure to visit and feel right at home when visiting. I highly recommend this home!!
