Both my mother (assisted living) and father in law (memory care) lived at South Pointe for the last year.
Memory Care - Can't say enough good about this space for dad. The community is small - probably less than 10 residents. I often saw staff chatting with residents, laughing with them, sitting beside them to talk or watch a movie together. It's just not something that you can duplicate at a larger facility. He was well loved and well cared for.
Assisted Living - I really appreciate the ease of communication with the nurse (Sam) and all the staff at the assisted living facility. They returned my calls, answered my questions, and were always looking to help make mom more comfortable.
Only reasons I didn't give the facility 5 stars is that the food left something to be desired and most of the staff smoke on the patio off the common room and sometimes it smelled like cigarette smoke when I came.
But the compassion, expertise, and kindness couldn't be beat. Thank you South Pointe!
My mother was a resident at this facility from mid June to early October. The staff was very attentive they kept the facilities and my mother‘s individual suite very clean. They maintained her laundry and always had fresh sheets on her bed at least once a week and they were also very receptive to feedback and sought to make improvements where needed. Prince and Mikayla are wonderful!
